Jill De Búrca has worked in the UK for the past five years as a sought after embroidery and embellishment designer who has sold her work to a wide range of designers, some of whom include Calvin Klein, Diane Von Furstenberg, BCBG, JCrew and Thurley .

An NCAD graduate who studied textiles and specialized in Embroidery for her degree, she moved to Brighton to train with Larch Rose, a highly creative Fashion and textile design studio who were dedicated to producing innovative, directional and trend-driven work for the fashion industry. After two years here she became the senior embroidery designer running a small team.

While in Brighton she also trained with Jenny King master embroiderer and has worked extensively over the years on the production of Erdem’s exquisitley embroidered clothes and on show pieces for Mary Katranzou and many private commissions.

Recently moved back to Dublin to launch her own label of High- end clothing. De Búrca’s collection is crafted by hand with screen-printing and intricate embroidery. Despite the meticulous details, the fashions remain very wearable with a sports lux edge.
