Melissa Curry
Melissa Curry is Ireland’s most celebrated and distinctive jewellery designers. Her debut in Paris Fashion Week 1998 caught the attention of Liberty of London who recruited her as the Liberty Cutting Edge Jewellery Designer for their Millennium press campaign. Her audacious use of unusual materials is both fresh and exciting. Currently Dublin based, all pieces are hand made and assembled in Ireland. Her designs revitalise, giving familiar shapes new life; the circle, her trademark is an emblem of this regenerative power. Melissa was commissioned to design for the recent Royal Wedding, Moet et Chandon and Swarovski. Her torc Madb commissioned for the film DAIS (www.dais.ie) featured in 21st Century Icons Exhibit 2011.
